Enterprise Software & Systems Integration

An integration is finished when it can show what it delivered yesterday and raise an alert the day it delivers nothing.

Questions we help answer

What we do

  • Integration inventory

Every connector, app and scheduled job listed with its permissions, last successful run and owner.

  • Order-to-ledger integration

Orders, refunds, fees and payouts moved from commerce and payment platforms into the accounting system, with matching rules agreed with the finance team and the accountant.

  • CRM and ERP connections

Customer, product and stock data synchronised between systems, with one named master system for each field.

  • Custom middleware

Scheduled jobs and APIs written where off-the-shelf connectors do not fit, with logs, retries and alerts.

  • Platform migration

Products, customers and order history moved between platforms with count and sample checks against the source before the old system is retired.

How we approach it

  1. 01

Name the master for each field

Every shared field has one system that owns it. Two systems allowed to edit the same price or stock figure will eventually disagree.

  2. 02

    Test the awkward cases

Refunds, partial shipments, cancelled orders, foreign currency and discounts are tested before go-live, because they are where integrations fail.

  3. 03

    Log every run

Each run records what it read, what it wrote and what it rejected, and a failed or empty run raises an alert to a named owner.

  4. 04

    Reconcile after go-live

For an agreed period after launch, record counts and totals are compared at both ends every day, and differences are traced to their cause.

How an engagement with THEFOCUS starts

A first conversation is about your situation. If there is a fit, we propose a scoped diagnostic with a fixed deliverable before any larger commitment.

Discuss this with us
  1. 01

    A working conversation

Forty-five minutes with the person who would lead the work. We ask about the decision, the systems behind it and the deadline.

  2. 02

    A scoped diagnostic

Read-only access, a fixed timeframe and a written finding: what the records show, what it costs and what to change first.

  3. 03

A plan you can act on

Changes, owners, measures and exclusions in writing. The same team then builds and measures, or hands over cleanly.

One accountable team
The people who diagnose also build the systems and measure the result.
Partners chosen per problem
Independent specialists join for the parts that need them, under one contract.
Records before dashboards
Orders, ledgers and logs are reconciled before any recommendation depends on them.

Questions executives ask

Do you use off-the-shelf connectors or write custom code?

We use an existing connector when it handles your edge cases and logs its runs. Where it does not, we write a small, documented job that does, held in your own accounts.

Will the integration touch our accounting records?

Only under matching rules agreed with your finance team and accountant. Anything that posts to the ledger is tested on a copy or a test period first, and they keep sign-off.
