Launch programme for a new fine jewellery brand, from positioning to storefront and production equipment

A young jewellery brand preparing to sell direct to consumers engaged us for a multi-phase launch programme. So far that has produced the brand position, a built storefront, the sales and social accounts, a product render standard and a purchase recommendation for in-house casting equipment.

Context

A new design-led fine jewellery brand in Türkiye, preparing to sell online to domestic and international customers.

The challenge

The founder had to settle the brand's position, build a storefront and accounts, prepare product imagery before physical stock existed, and decide whether to buy a printer for lost-wax casting, a large purchase where a wrong choice ties up capital for years.

Our approach

The programme runs in phases with milestone billing, and every task sits in a project the client can see. Positioning came first so that the storefront, accounts and imagery were built on an agreed brand position. For the equipment decision we compared technologies by what happens in casting, where fine detail is lost, before comparing machines.

What we implemented

We built the storefront theme with structured product fields for materials and craft details, set up the brand's social and video accounts, and wrote a render standard covering shot list, image size, background colour and a quality checklist, noting which sales channels require photographs of the real item. The equipment report recommended one main machine and one alternative, set out a lower-capital option of in-house try-on prototypes with outsourced wax printing below a stated monthly volume, and ended with written questions for vendors and a test protocol that casts the brand's own design in gold and silver before purchase.

Outcome

The storefront theme is published on a store that stays password-protected until launch, and the positioning, render standard and equipment recommendation were delivered. The brand has not launched commercially, so there are no sales results.

Highlights

  • Brand position agreed before storefront, accounts and imagery were built
  • Equipment recommendation framed as one main option, one alternative and a lower-capital route
  • Pre-purchase test protocol requires the brand's own design to be cast in gold and silver

How an engagement with THEFOCUS starts

A first conversation is about your situation. If there is a fit, we propose a scoped diagnostic with a fixed deliverable before any larger commitment.

Discuss this with us
  1. 01

    A working conversation

Forty-five minutes with the person who would lead the work. We ask about the decision, the systems behind it and the deadline.

  2. 02

    A scoped diagnostic

Read-only access, a fixed timeframe and a written finding: what the records show, what it costs and what to change first.

  3. 03

A plan you can act on

Changes, owners, measures and exclusions in writing. The same team then builds and measures, or hands over cleanly.

One accountable team
The people who diagnose also build the systems and measure the result.
Partners chosen per problem
Independent specialists join for the parts that need them, under one contract.
Records before dashboards
Orders, ledgers and logs are reconciled before any recommendation depends on them.
