Operations Strategy & Performance
We size each operational problem from the records first, so the plan funds the largest measured delays and costs ahead of the most-discussed ones.
Questions we help answer
- Where in our order-to-cash cycle do we lose the most time and money, measured from our own records?
- Which operational targets do we track today, and which only exist on a slide?
- Should this activity stay in-house, move to a provider, or be automated?
- What capacity will we need if volume or the number of markets grows over the next two years?
- How do we know an improvement held after the project team moved on?
What we do
Operational performance review
Order-to-delivery, stock, returns and service flows measured from system data, with the points where work stalls located and sized in time and cost.
Operating plan and priorities
A ranked set of improvements with the cost, owner and measure of each, and the order in which they depend on one another.
In-house, outsource or automate
Comparisons of keeping an activity, moving it to a provider or automating it, on full cost and on the control the business keeps over service levels.
Operational KPI framework
KPIs defined against the source systems, with scheduled checks that report on the day and a named owner for each.

How we approach it
- 01
Size before prioritizing
Each problem is quantified from records in hours, units or currency before it enters the plan, so priorities follow measured cost.
- 02
Separate cause from symptom
A late delivery may start in purchasing, stock allocation or carrier booking. We trace each delay to the step that created it.
- 03
Write the baseline into the check
Every target is paired with a scheduled check that holds the starting figures, so progress is measured against where the process began.

Verified buyer sourcing and sales-channel comparison for a small agricultural grower
A small grower holding a few tonnes of a new-season crop asked for verified firms that buy direct from producers. We built the list from official membership registries and showed that the choice of sales channel mattered more than the choice of buyer.

Launch program for a new fine jewellery brand, from positioning to storefront and production equipment
A young jewellery brand preparing to sell direct to consumers engaged us for a multi-phase launch program. So far that has produced the brand position, a built storefront, the sales and social accounts, a product render standard and a purchase recommendation for in-house casting equipment.

Two deep audits and an ordering-failure diagnosis for an online specialty food shop
An online specialty food shop in the Gulf asked for an audit, then for help when customers said they could not order. We found the cause in a theme rule and in stock tied up by unfulfilled orders, and turned two audits into a prioritized program.

How an engagement with THEFOCUS starts
A first conversation is about your situation. If there is a fit, we propose a scoped diagnostic with a fixed deliverable before any larger commitment.

A working conversation
Forty-five minutes with the person who would lead the work. We ask about the decision, the systems behind it and the deadline.
02
A scoped diagnostic
Read-only access, a fixed timeframe and a written finding: what the records show, what it costs and what to change first.
03
A plan you can act on
Changes, owners, measures and exclusions in writing. The same team then builds and measures, or hands over cleanly.
- One accountable team
- The people who diagnose also build the systems and measure the result.
- Partners chosen per problem
- Independent specializts join for the parts that need them, under one contract.
- Records before dashboards
- Orders, ledgers and logs are reconciled before any recommendation depends on them.
Questions executives ask
Is this a strategy document or hands-on work?
Both. The plan is built from your records, and the same team then carries out the data, process and automation work it calls for, with partners for specializt systems.
Can you help us decide whether to use a third-party logistics provider?
Yes. We compare keeping the activity in-house with moving it to a provider on full cost, service levels and the data you would need back, and help you specify the tender. We do not operate logistics ourselves.
