Growth, Marketing & Sales

We fix the figures a growth plan stands on, then build and run the campaigns, stores and sales processes it depends on, judged on the orders you record.

Our perspective

Growth, marketing and sales at THEFOCUS covers how an established business chooses its customers, prices its offer, wins demand and turns it into orders: commercial strategy, pricing, paid media, e-commerce, B2B sales, customer retention, brand and marketing measurement. We reconcile platform-reported results with the orders, leads and margin the business records before any budget moves, then build and run what the plan depends on.

Most growth plans we are shown rest on a revenue figure nobody has reconciled. Google Ads, Meta and the analytics property each count sales under their own attribution windows, and their combined total for a month often exceeds the net sales the business booked. Behind the gap we regularly find a second conversion action counting every order, refunds that were never retracted from the ad account, or calls and form fills pooled with purchases at zero value. Budget then moves toward the campaigns that are best at claiming credit, and the growth plan inherits every error in its baseline.

So we fix measurement first and spend second. The opening weeks of an engagement join platform conversions to the order book on order ID, net of cancellations and refunds, and recompute cost per order and contribution after advertising by channel, product and market. Decisions about audiences, products and countries are taken on those corrected figures, with the measure that will judge each change agreed in writing beforehand. Where a budget shift is large, we test it with a hold-out read in the order book, because attribution assigns credit and a budget decision needs evidence of cause.

The same team then builds what the plan needs: campaign structures, product feeds, verified lead forms, checkout fixes, price lists, CRM stages and retention flows, all in accounts the client owns. We have worked with organizations in the United Kingdom, Türkiye, Australia, the United States and the Gulf, many of them selling high-ticket products through showrooms, consultations or quotes, where a sale is closed on a call and has to be measured that way. Specializt partners join for creative production, marketplaces or local-language copy when the engagement calls for them.

How we help clients

Business challenges

  1. 01

Ad platform revenue that does not reconcile with orders

The social platform reports a healthy return while store data says otherwise. Budget follows the platform's figure, and nobody can tell which audiences make money and which lose it.

  2. 02

Selling like a showroom, advertising like an online shop

High-ticket products sell after a call, a consultation or a showroom visit, yet campaigns optimize for online purchases that rarely happen, and calls and messages are counted with no value at all.

  3. 03

Discounts that buy volume and give away margin

Codes circulate on voucher sites, free-shipping thresholds sit below the average basket and every promotion is judged on revenue. The list price looks healthy while the price customers actually pay drifts down each quarter.

  4. 04

Traffic from markets you cannot sell to

Search visibility and checkout visits come from countries the store does not ship to. Those checkouts fail, while the home market receives a fraction of the attention.

  5. 05

    Spend and automation nobody approved

A connected app or platform automation creates campaigns, rewrites ad copy or targets an audience that was deliberately excluded, and the spend sits outside the account structure everyone reviews.

  6. 06

Enquiries lost before they reach sales

A quote form hidden inside a pop-up, a lead form without phone verification or an enquiry inbox nobody watches loses customers whom the ad account still counts as conversions.

How we approach it

  1. Correct the numbers first

We reconcile platform-reported revenue against store orders and recompute cost per acquisition on recorded sales. Decisions about audiences, products and budgets are taken on the corrected figures.

  2. Match the structure to how customers buy

Online-checkout businesses are run on purchase value. Showroom, quote and consultation businesses are run on calls, verified forms, messages and closed sales imported back from the CRM.

  3. Build for review before any spend

Campaigns are built paused with a future start date for your review. Platform automation settings are listed and switched off where you ask, and you decide when campaigns go live.

  4. Test for cause before scaling

Material budget shifts are tested with geographic or audience hold-outs and read in the order book, so the decision rests on sales the spend produced.

  5. Check results on a schedule

Scheduled checks compare account totals with the campaigns being tracked, so unplanned spend shows up, and read results against decision rules agreed at launch instead of reacting to week-to-week noise.

Client results

How outcomes are evaluated

  • Cost per recorded order or qualified lead, by channel and campaign
  • Contribution after advertising cost by product, channel and market
  • Gap between platform-reported revenue and net sales, tracked monthly per channel
  • Realised price against list price, and the share of orders carrying a discount
  • Checkout and lead-flow completion rates by device and market
  • Lead-to-quote and quote-to-order conversion by source
  • Repeat purchase rate and time to second order by customer cohort

Scope boundaries

  • We do not guarantee sales, lead volumes or return on ad spend. Each plan states in advance which measures will decide whether a change worked.
  • Media budgets are paid by the client directly to the advertising platforms, and campaigns, audiences, feeds and data stay in the client's own accounts.
  • We do not create or publish fabricated reviews, testimonials or endorsements, and we decline requests to do so.
  • Pricing and promotion recommendations are commercial analysis. Where a question turns on competition or consumer-protection law, we say so and you take legal advice.

Questions executives ask

Do you run our advertising accounts or advise on them?

We do either. We can audit and recommend under read-only access, or build and manage campaigns in your accounts. Launching, pausing or changing budgets on live campaigns happens only with your approval.

How do you treat the revenue figures ad platforms report?

As one input among several. We reconcile them against the orders or leads your own systems recorded and base budget decisions on the corrected figure. Where the gap is large, we report it before changing anything.

How does an engagement start?

With read access to the store or CRM, analytics and ad accounts, and a diagnostic that reconciles reported results with recorded ones. The first recommendations usually concern measurement, because every later budget decision depends on it.

Can you work with our in-house marketing team or agency?

Yes. We can take the measurement, feed, pricing and reconciliation work and leave creative or day-to-day management with the existing team, or supply campaign builds and acceptance checks for them to run.

Our sales close in a showroom or on a call. Does this still apply?

Yes, and it changes the set-up. Calls get separate tracking numbers per platform, forms are verified, and qualified leads and closed sales are sent back from the CRM so the platforms learn from sales instead of form submissions.

How do FocusADS.ai, LocalBoostHQ and Flowlora relate to this work?

They are our own products. LocalBoostHQ is a live service for local businesses covering websites, Google Business Profile, local SEO and ads. Flowlora is our e-commerce operations and growth practice and is being relaunched. FocusADS.ai is a managed-advertising service in development. The engagements on this page are delivered directly by THEFOCUS.
