Supply Chain Planning & Logistics
Stock problems usually start in data: a forecast nobody trusts, a SKU that exists twice, orders holding stock they will never ship. We fix the data, then the plan.
Questions we help answer
- How much stock should we hold of each product, and where?
- Why do we run out of best sellers while slow lines fill the warehouse?
- Is our logistics provider meeting the service levels in the contract, and how would we know?
- Can we trace a product back to its supplier, batch and origin when a customer or regulator asks?
- What happens to availability if a key supplier's lead time doubles?
What we do
Demand forecasting
Forecasts by product family built from sales history, promotions and seasonality, tested against what sold and handed to the buying team in the tools they use.
Stock policy
Reorder points, safety stock and review cycles set by product class, with the cash tied up in each policy shown beside the availability it buys.
Product and supplier master data
SKUs, variants, attributes, origin and supplier records cleaned and structured, with duplicates resolved and every change recorded.
Logistics provider management
Service-level definitions, provider scorecards built from shipment and order data, and support with tenders for warehousing and carriage.
Traceability records
Links from finished product to supplier, batch and origin, kept in the systems the business already runs.

How we approach it
- 01
Clean the product master first
Forecasts and stock policies built on duplicated or mislabelled SKUs repeat the errors. We fix the master data before planning on it.
- 02
Release stuck stock
Orders that will never ship are identified and resolved with the owner, so recorded availability matches what is on the shelf.
- 03
Test forecasts against history
Each forecast method is scored on past periods it did not see, and the buying team sees its error before relying on it.
- 04
Score providers on your data
Provider performance is measured from your order and shipment records against the contracted service levels.

Verified buyer sourcing and sales-channel comparison for a small agricultural grower
A small grower holding a few tonnes of a new-season crop asked for verified firms that buy direct from producers. We built the list from official membership registries and showed that the choice of sales channel mattered more than the choice of buyer.

Launch programme for a new fine jewellery brand, from positioning to storefront and production equipment
A young jewellery brand preparing to sell direct to consumers engaged us for a multi-phase launch programme. So far that has produced the brand position, a built storefront, the sales and social accounts, a product render standard and a purchase recommendation for in-house casting equipment.

Two deep audits and an ordering-failure diagnosis for an online specialty food shop
An online specialty food shop in the Gulf asked for an audit, then for help when customers said they could not order. We found the cause in a theme rule and in stock tied up by unfulfilled orders, and turned two audits into a prioritised programme.

How an engagement with THEFOCUS starts
A first conversation is about your situation. If there is a fit, we propose a scoped diagnostic with a fixed deliverable before any larger commitment.

A working conversation
Forty-five minutes with the person who would lead the work. We ask about the decision, the systems behind it and the deadline.
02
A scoped diagnostic
Read-only access, a fixed timeframe and a written finding: what the records show, what it costs and what to change first.
03
A plan you can act on
Changes, owners, measures and exclusions in writing. The same team then builds and measures, or hands over cleanly.
- One accountable team
- The people who diagnose also build the systems and measure the result.
- Partners chosen per problem
- Independent specialists join for the parts that need them, under one contract.
- Records before dashboards
- Orders, ledgers and logs are reconciled before any recommendation depends on them.
Questions executives ask
Do you operate warehouses or transport?
No. We do not run warehousing, carriage or fulfilment. We plan stock, clean the data, measure providers and help you contract them, and the physical operation stays with you and your providers.
Do we need specialist planning software?
Not always. Many businesses can plan well from the commerce or ERP system plus a tested forecasting model. We recommend dedicated software when the number of products, locations or suppliers makes the simpler route unreliable.
