Public Sector & Institutional Organizations

Public bodies are asked to show what they spent, what they decided and why, often from records spread across ageing case-management systems, spreadsheets and email. We design the data, reporting and case workflows that make those questions answerable. We have not yet published work in this sector, and this page sets out our approach.

Market context

Business challenges

  1. 01

    Case records split across systems

A single case can touch a legacy case-management system, a spreadsheet tracker and an email thread. When a decision is challenged, staff rebuild its history by hand.

  2. 02

    Returns compiled from exports

Board, ministerial and regulatory returns are often assembled from exports whose definitions vary by team, so a figure is hard to reproduce when someone questions it.

  3. 03

Supplier performance that is hard to evidence

Contracts awarded under the Procurement Act 2023 carry duties to assess performance. Where contract data, KPIs and delivery evidence sit in different places, those assessments are slow to produce and hard to defend.

  4. 04

Pilots that cannot show what changed

Digital pilots often start without a baseline, so at the end nobody can say what improved and funding decisions rest on anecdote.

Where the opportunity sits

Case files with an audit history

Linking records, evidence and decisions in one case file, with a log of who changed what and when, gives reviewers a history they can rely on. FuelVeriq, our pre-launch MVP, applies this pattern to fuel-quality investigations.

Metrics defined once and traceable

A written definition for each reported metric, calculated from a documented source, makes returns reproducible and lets any figure be traced back to its records when it is questioned.

Pilots with a baseline and a decision rule

Agreeing the baseline, the measures and the threshold for continuing before a pilot starts means the closing report can say whether it worked.

How we approach it

We start with one service or case type and trace how a record moves from intake to decision to closure or publication, read-only and within the organization's information-governance rules. Findings cover where data is re-entered, which reported figures cannot be reproduced and where a decision lacks a recorded basis. If the organization wants us to build, we deliver case workflows, data pipelines and reporting in its own environment, with documentation and acceptance checks agreed in advance. Larger programs are staffed from our network of independent specializt partners under one accountable lead. We do not act as a regulator, issue certifications or give legal advice, and any engagement follows the buyer's own procurement process.

How our experience is evidenced

No anonymised engagement with a public-sector or institutional client is published. This page describes our approach and capabilities. FuelVeriq, our fuel quality and supply-integrity product, counts regulators among its intended users, but it is a pre-launch MVP with no public-sector partnership, deployment or endorsement.

Questions executives ask

Have you delivered work for a public body?

We have not published an anonymised engagement with a public-sector or institutional client. Any proposal would state which parts of the work we have done in other sectors and which would be new.

Is FuelVeriq used by any regulator?

No. FuelVeriq is a pre-launch MVP demonstration with pilot enquiries open. Regulators are among its intended users, but it has no public-sector partnership, deployment or endorsement.

Where would our data be held?

In your organization's own environment or in accounts you control, under your information-governance and security rules. Data-protection terms, access levels and retention are agreed before any work on personal data starts.

Do you advise on regulation or policy?

We support the data, workflow and documentation side of regulatory work. We do not act as a regulator, give legal advice or issue certifications, and policy decisions stay with the organization.
