Regulatory Compliance Programs
Your lawyers say what a rule requires. We turn that into controls, owners and records inside the systems where the work happens, so compliance can be shown on request.
Questions we help answer
- Which obligations has our counsel identified for each market, and who owns each one?
- Can we show evidence that our controls ran, or only that they exist on paper?
- How do we prepare for a new rule our advisers have flagged?
- Where do we rely on manual checks that could be recorded automatically?
- How do we keep compliance consistent across countries without slowing local teams?
What we do
Obligations register
Obligations identified by the client's advisers, mapped to the processes, systems and people that carry them.
Control design and mapping
A control for each obligation, with its frequency, owner and the evidence it must leave behind.
Evidence workflows
Checks, sign-offs and logs recorded in the tools staff already use, with timestamps and named owners.
Readiness programs for new rules
A program plan for each new requirement, listing the gaps, the actions, the owners and the dates.
Compliance reporting
Dashboards showing control status, exceptions and overdue actions for management and the board.

How we approach it
- 01
Take requirements from your advisers
Your legal and compliance advisers define what each obligation requires. We record their conclusions and ask the questions the build needs answered.
- 02
Map to processes and systems
Each obligation is traced to the process step and the system where it is met or missed.
- 03
Build controls into the work
Checks become workflow steps, required fields or automated tests, so evidence is created while the work is done.
- 04
Test and report
Control evidence is sampled on a schedule, and exceptions go to named owners with due dates.

How an engagement with THEFOCUS starts
A first conversation is about your situation. If there is a fit, we propose a scoped diagnostic with a fixed deliverable before any larger commitment.
Discuss this with us01
A working conversation
Forty-five minutes with the person who would lead the work. We ask about the decision, the systems behind it and the deadline.
02
A scoped diagnostic
Read-only access, a fixed timeframe and a written finding: what the records show, what it costs and what to change first.
03
A plan you can act on
Changes, owners, measures and exclusions in writing. The same team then builds and measures, or hands over cleanly.
- One accountable team
- The people who diagnose also build the systems and measure the result.
- Partners chosen per problem
- Independent specialists join for the parts that need them, under one contract.
- Records before dashboards
- Orders, ledgers and logs are reconciled before any recommendation depends on them.
Questions executives ask
Do you tell us which laws apply to us?
No. Identifying and interpreting legal and regulatory obligations is for your qualified legal and compliance advisers. We take their conclusions and build the controls, workflows and records that show compliance in practice.
Can you deal with a regulator on our behalf?
No. We do not act for clients before regulators. We prepare the evidence and reports your team and advisers use in those conversations.
